The High Commission for Planning (HCP) has indicated that the expectations of business leaders in the non-financial market services sector, for the 2nd quarter of 2022, reveal an increase in overall activity, according to 40% of them and stability according to 55%.
In a recent note on the results of its quarterly business tendency surveys in wholesale trade and non-financial market services, the HCP explains that these expectations are mainly due to the expected improvement in the “Air Transport” and ‘”Accommodation” and “Catering”.
For Q2-2022, business leaders in the non-financial market services sector expect an increase in demand and an increase in the number of employees employed, adds the same source, noting that at the cash level, 41% of managers companies find it difficult.
In addition, the note shows that in the first quarter of 2022, the activity of non-financial market services would have experienced a drop according to 50% of the bosses and an increase according to 28%. This development would have been due, on the one hand, to the decline in “Telecommunications” and “Air Transport” activities and, on the other hand, to the increase in activity recorded at the level of the “Water Transport” branches. , “Land transport and pipeline transport” and Post and courier activities”. In Q1-2022, the sector’s service capacity utilization rate (TUC) would have stood at 76%.
The sector’s order books are judged to be normal by 66% of the bosses and below normal by 25%. Employment would have experienced stability according to 64% and a decrease according to 20% of business leaders.
