Real Madrid announced on Saturday the departure of Belgian player Eden Hazard, linked with the Whites until 2024. The two parties have reached an agreement to release the player.
He is the third player that Real Madrid have lost at the end of this season after Asensio and Mariano, at the end of their contract.
“Real Madrid CF and Eden Hazard have reached an agreement that the player will leave the club from June 30, 2023,” the Madrid club wrote in a statement.
“Eden Hazard was part of our club for four seasons, during which he won 8 titles: 1 European Cup, 1 Club World Cup, 1 European Super Cup, 2 La Liga titles, 1 FIFA King and 2 Spanish Super Cups”, add the Merengues.
“Real Madrid would like to express their affection for Eden Hazard and wish him and his whole family the best of luck in this new stage,” the statement concluded.
