After a mixed season, Hakim Ziyech could well leave Chelsea this summer despite having plenty of options.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Blues striker is considered one of the players with a chance of leaving the club during the summer transfer window. The Moroccan has missed playing time this season which could lead to an exit from the club.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has previously admitted that Ziyech’s preferred role as a right-winger does not exist in his current system.
“We have changed the system recently. If we play in a back four, a 4-1-4-1, with a right wing position, that suits Hakim (Ziyech) best.”he said, before adding:
“This position was not available from the start of the final, so we made the tactical decision to play with the three backs, so that did not leave us with the same position for Hakim”.
The German has since admitted he has no intention of changing the system for next season which could lead the former Ajax Amsterdam star to consider his options for next season.
Ziyech is no shortage of suitors and attracts several European leaders including AC Milan, Juventus Turin and Borussia Dortmund.
AC Milan have already offered 30 million euros to the London club, while the latter is asking for the sum of 40 million euros in order to let their player go.
Previously, the Atlas Lion had been linked with a move to Atletico Madrid who have expressed interest in the Moroccan star. Diego Simeone is always looking for experienced players who can improve his team. Ziyech is playing with a style that could suit the Rojiblancos, who have struggled for creativity this season.
