Moroccan international Noussair Mazraoui continues facing a challenging period with Bayern Munich, following his vocal support for Palestine.
German tabloid BILD reported that politician Volker Beck has filed a criminal complaint against Mazraoui for “justifying crimes” in response to his social media posts supporting Palestine.
Despite Bayern Munich’s administration having previously closed the case on Mazraoui’s “controversial” post, the Atlas Lion has been absent from training sessions this week, with coach Thomas Tuchel citing illness as the reason, without disclosing details.
Mazraoui continues to excel on the field, however, earning a spot in SOFASCORE’s ideal lineup for the Champions League in October.
