Given the importance of the tourist experience in the satisfaction and loyalty of travelers, as well as the enthusiasm that Morocco is currently experiencing, the Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy , Fatim-Zahra Ammor, called for the mobilization of all professionals as well as its central, regional and provincial teams to guarantee the success of the 2023 summer season.
Indeed, in letters addressed to the presidents of the National Confederation of Tourism, of the National Federation of the Hotel Industry as well as to all the Regional and Provincial Delegates of Tourism, Fatim-Zahra Ammor raises awareness of the improvement of reception conditions for national and international tourists in terms of infrastructure, prices, as well as the quality of the services provided to them.
It also called on its central teams and ministry relays at regional and territorial level to strengthen monitoring and supervision operations on the ground in coordination with local authorities and other competent services.
In this regard, it should be recalled that the tourist experience occupies a central place in the 2023-2026 tourism roadmap. In addition to a redesigned offer around the most sought-after experiences, which are broken down into nine thematic tourist sectors, this roadmap highlights the importance of the small details that make all the difference in the tourist experience.
This is why it is essential to combine the efforts of all actors and stakeholders in order to support the current growth of the sector and strengthen Morocco’s position as an essential tourist destination on the international scene.
