From Algeria, the president of CAF does not recognize the Polisario

The Algerian regime was inflicted with a new disappointment during the visit of the president of the CAF, Patrice Motsepe who did not recognize the separatist militia of the polisario in the presence of the Algerian officials.

After the scandal that marred the vote for the headquarters of the future African drug agency, where Algerian officials were accused by their African counterparts of having tried to buy votes, the Algiers regime once again swallowed an institutional, continental and international disappointment.

During his trip to Algeria, the CAF president was received by the Algerian president, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who gave him a strong handshake.

The head of CAF then spoke to the press and in the presence of the president of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF), Djahid Zeifizef.

In his statement, Patrice Motsepe said that Africa has 54 countries. This sentence was not translated by the Algerian interpreter on site. And for good reason, it does not align with Algiers’ thesis on the Sahara issue, Algiers being the only promoter of the separatist entity of the Polisario internationally.

Yes, CAF does not recognize the SADR,” he added.

“We didn’t tell you, Abdelmadjid Tebboune? Yes, the fundamental law of CAF, amended in Rabat two years ago, prohibits the membership of any country not recognized by the United Nations! That’s why Patrice Motsepe said 54 countries, in case you didn’t understand,” he continued.

This statement, which seems trivial, is not in reality, since it clearly indicates that the continental body of African football does not recognize the Polisario, and its self-proclaimed republic, pushed by Algiers to be considered as a so-called state. fully fledged.

In all its communications, Algeria seeks to amputate Morocco of its Saharan provinces by considering the Moroccan Sahara (whose former name under Spanish occupation was Western Sahara, editor’s note) as a nation independent of Morocco, in order to house the Polisario militia that it created and finances, as a false international cover against its expansionist ambitions.
