The organizer of the concert of French rapper Booba in Morocco has announced the cancellation of the show, after the great controversy on social networks and the fierce campaign waged against him by Moroccan activists who demanded to boycott him because of the offensive remarks of the singer against Moroccan women.

The official website of the platform, responsible for issuing tickets for the concert which was to be organized on June 21 at the Mohammed V sports complex in Casablanca, revealed that the sale had been stopped and the evening officially canceled by a decision of the producer of the event.

The same source said that the value of tickets purchased by the public will be transferred to a balance through their accounts on the sales platform, and they will be able to benefit from them in future purchases.

It should be noted that French rapper Booba arrived in Morocco in recent weeks to prepare for his concert, which was to be organized in a gesture described as “provocative” by Moroccan activists, expressing their disapproval of his reception after the speech. offensive he uttered against Moroccan women.
