To this end, he added, during the Government Council held this Thursday by videoconference, the Secretary General of the Government and the Minister of the Economy, Finance and the Reform of the Administration to work, were responsible for revising Law No. 104.12 relating to freedom of prices and competition and Law No. 20.13 relating to the Competition Council.
El Otmani recalled in this regard that receiving, on Monday March 22, Ahmed Rahhou whom he appointed as head of the Competition Council, King Mohammed VI had ordered the transmission to the Head of Government of the recommendations of the Commission ad- hoc, charged by the Sovereign with carrying out the necessary investigations in the case in which the Competition Council was referred.
These recommendations have been submitted, said E Otmani, who pledged to work to end this project in the near future to implement the content of these recommendations related to the legal aspect, stressing that consumer protection, protecting price freedom and ensuring fair competition is an essential part of the economic building that everyone is looking for.
