Franco-Moroccan Ilyes Housni joins PSG

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) announced on Friday the signing of the first professional contract for its young Franco-Moroccan striker, Ilyes Housni.

The player is now linked to the capital club until June 30, 2026, the Paris club said on its website.

The native of Créteil (Val-de-Marne) joined the Pre-Training Center of the capital club in 2017 from Paris FC. He then joined the Training Center in U17 before evolving into U19. He has managed to establish himself as a starter with the PSG U19s since the start of the 2022-2023 season.

Housni notably shone and contributed to his team’s qualification for the round of 16 in the UEFA Youth League, scoring 8 goals and providing 2 assists in 6 matches.

The young striker appeared for the first time on a team sheet for the professional team on the occasion of the Ligue 1 meeting against Strasbourg at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday.
