France: The Minister for Foreign Trade and Attractiveness on a working visit Monday and Tuesday in Morocco

The French Minister Delegate, in charge of Foreign Trade and Attractiveness, Franck Riester, will perform on Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 November in Morocco (Casablanca and Rabat), to discuss the subjects of the future of the exceptional Franco-Moroccan partnership and meet his new Moroccan counterparts.

This trip follows on from the Minister’s previous visit a year ago (October 2020), which was his first trip outside the European Union.

In this context, Franck Riester will meet on November 22 in Casablanca, the president and other officials of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) and will discuss with a panel of Moroccan business leaders.

He will also visit the La Factory accelerator in order to appreciate the dynamism of the ecosystem of Moroccan startups, as well as having a moment of exchange with the France Business Team, the French business community in Morocco as well as all the actors who support them in their development, to measure the opportunities for cooperation with the Moroccan private sector.

The Minister will meet Tuesday, November 23 in Rabat, Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Trade, and Mohcine Jazouli, Minister Delegate in charge of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies.

These talks will make it possible to take stock of the bilateral economic relationship and to discuss concrete ideas for the future to renew and further strengthen the exceptional partnership between France and Morocco.
