The Ali Zaoua Foundation launches the spring program with the highlight of the centre’s anniversary ” The Stars of Souss ». To celebrate, a multidisciplinary event was held on April 2 at the Les Etoiles du Souss center.
Members of the Agadir center performed in the presence of Ahmed Hajji, Wali of the Souss-Massa Region, Governor of the Prefecture of Agadir-Ida Outanane, Nabil Ayouch President of the Ali Zaoua Foundation and Mahi Binebine, vice -President of the Ali Zaoua Foundation, the organizers said in a press release.
Built and equipped by the INDH of the Prefecture of Agadir Ida Outanane, the Etoiles du Souss cultural center will occasionally benefit, and thanks to a new agreement signed between the various partners, from a financial contribution from the INDH for its operation.
For its part, the Foundation undertakes to contribute to the 3th phase of the INDH program which aims at the development of young people in the district of Hay El Farah through the establishment of an initiation and training program in the arts and cultural practice.
” The anniversary of the Les Etoiles du Souss center is an opportunity for us to celebrate the members and beneficiaries of the center who will exhibit their know-how and their talent in front of an external audience. It is also an opportunity to recall and consolidate our mission, which is to promote the arts and culture in small neighborhoods and make it a learning tool and a development lever for the local population.», Explained Nabil Ayouch, Founder and President of the Ali Zaoua Foundation.
Despite the constraints imposed by the pandemic situation due to COVID-19 during the year 2020, the Center “ The Stars of Souss » has continued to ensure that culture and the arts are part of the lives of young people in the city. It is with this in mind that a program of courses and activities dispensed at a distance was set up by the Center team throughout the period of confinement, notes the same source.
In addition, the Les Etoiles du Souss Center has strengthened its face-to-face educational program, while establishing health standards, for the benefit of a wider public. The objective being to diversify the educational content on the one hand, but also to contribute to strengthening the skills and capacities of young talents in the region on the other hand, in order to support them in their academic and professional integration project, points out the Foundation.
The latter thus recalls that the Cultural Center “ The stars of Souss »Was created in the spring of 2019 in the heart of the Hay El Farah district, an area undergoing urban and social work in the city of Agadir. After Casablanca (2014), Tangier (2017), Agadir (2019), Fès (2020) and Marrakech (2021), Les Etoiles du Souss is the 3th Cultural center of the Foundation.
