The Qatari club has confirmed the completion of all procedures for the transfer of the former Rajaoui, after passing the medical examination, announcing a contract that runs until 2024.

Note that the Egyptian club had announced, two days ago, its approval of the departure of the Moroccan international following his request for personal reasons.

Banoun had joined Al Ahly from Egypt in November 2020, coming from Raja Casablanca. With the Reds, he won the 2021 African Champions League, the African Super Cup twice, bronze in the Club World Cup, as well as a single Egyptian Cup.
