A Council of Government will be held on Thursday under the chairmanship of the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, said a statement from the Head of Government’s department on Monday.
The Council will begin its work by examining five draft decrees, the first of which concerns the extension of the period of validity of the state of health emergency throughout the national territory to deal with the pandemic of the new coronavirus. (Covid-19), and the second concerns the modification of the decree issued for the application of the law relating to the Competition Council.
As for the third draft decree, it relates to the modification of the decree issued for the application of the law relating to freedom of prices and competition, while the fourth relates to the reorganization of the “Hassan II Prize for Manuscripts” and the last project aims to modify the decree relating to the allowances granted to the members of the Council of competition, underlines the press release.
Subsequently, the Council will move on to study a framework cooperation agreement in the field of logistics between the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Government of the Republic of Chad, signed in Rabat on December 10, 2021, with a draft law approving the said framework agreement, before closing its work by examining proposals for appointment to high office, in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution.
Following the Council, the government will hold a special meeting to study certain legislative proposals.
