Sofyan Amrabat is not going anywhere this summer. Indispensable element of Fiorentina, the Moroccan international, tracked by AC Milan was blocked by his club who refused an offer of 20 million euros from the Rossoneri.
A few weeks ago, the sporting director of AC Milan, Paolo Maldini would have ticked the name of Sofyan Amrabat to evolve in midfield alongside Franck Kessie, Ismael Bennacer and Sandro Tonali. Amrabat’s ability to combine quality and quantity makes it a flexible and attractive profile, especially among Italian clubs.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Fiorentina have put a stop to Milan claiming that their player is untouchable. The Rossoneri club would have put 20 million euros in the plate, the same amount paid by the viola in Verona to buy it in January 2020.
The 24-year-old Moroccan international has appeared in 25 Serie A matches for Fiorentina this season and is considered a valuable part of the squad. Milan have reportedly contacted Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso, but firmly declined the Rossoneri’s offer.
As a reminder, Sofyan Amrabat signed a contract until June 2024 and the Violets are waiting for a more successful offer for the Moroccan.
