Harry Kane’s companions were satisfied with a small goal (Raheem Sterling) in front of solid Czechs who have not been unworthy. Without convincing therefore, the English still come first in the group.
In the other match, Croatia crushed Scotland (3-1), and thus ensured their qualification on goal difference.
The Czech Republic is third and Scotland fourth.
