The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has indicated that the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo finished top scorer in the European Football Championship (Euro-2020), thanks to his five goals, but above all to an assist (pass decisive).
According to UEFA’s tally, Ronaldo opened his scoring with two goals in the 3-0 win over Hungary. He added a goal in Matchday 2’s 4-2 loss to Germany, before scoring another brace against France.
Although Czech Patrik Schick also scored five goals, CR7 finished first thanks to his assist against Germany and for also playing a few minutes less than Schick.
