A delegation from the Moroccan Association of Exporters (ASMEX), was received by the Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, in Casablanca, in order to jointly study the best avenues of collaboration for the development of foreign trade. and support for exporters.
Chaired by the president of ASMEX, Hassan Sentissi El Idrissi, this meeting takes place in a context of post-covid economic recovery, where export represents a strategic growth lever for the country and the challenges facing Moroccan exporters are enormous. .
This meeting, which also takes place a few days after the ASMEX AGM, was an opportunity to present the new roadmap for 2025 prepared by the ASMEX Strategic Committee, in the framework of a global and committed approach in the service of national exports.
The meeting with the Minister of Industry also allowed the ASMEX delegation to come back to the recommendations formulated within the framework of the debate around the 2022 Finance Bill and articulated in particular around tax fairness and support. exporting companies for the development of the exportable offer with high added value and the opening of new markets, in particular within the framework of the ZLECAF.
ASMEX’s proposals were favorably received by the Minister of Industry and Trade who expressed his willingness to work hand in hand with ASMEX to boost exports on the basis of targeted actions and meetings. regular, every quarter, with progress reports on the strategic, technical and financing aspects.

At the end of this meeting, it was agreed in common agreement with the Minister of Industry, Ryad Mezzour, to set up funds dedicated to the development of exports, an export steering committee whose architecture will be defined. subsequently, to develop a national platform for e-commerce intended for export and to conclude a program contract with ASMEX.
