It is now official, Jamal Sellami is leaving his coaching position at Raja de Casablanca, as previously announced despite the victory of the Greens against Pyramids in the CAF Cup.
Without much surprise, the Raja of Casablanca announced the departure of Jamal Sellami who submitted his resignation on Wednesday, accepted by the club’s management committee.
The Moroccan technician took the opportunity to apologize to the Raja management office, for his inability to meet the request of officials, players and former managers, to reverse his decision and continue to coach the green team.

With Sellami, the Raja displays a great difficulty in the game increasingly blatant, which pushed the Ultras to demonstrate in the streets of Casablanca a few weeks ago in order to ask the leaders to find a solution.
Since his arrival at the helm of RCA, Sellami has managed to score 30 wins, with 15 draws, while suffering only 12 defeats.
The former FUS managed to win the professional championship for the first time with Raja, after an absence of 7 years, obtaining the twelfth title of the Greens.
For the moment, the Raja of Casablanca continues his quest to find a replacement for Sellami and does not close the door to the profiles of both Moroccan and foreign coaches.
