The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Othman El Ferdaous, received on Monday a delegation from the National Association of Media and Publishers (ANME), for discussions around the difficult situation of companies in press in light of the covid-19 pandemic.
The ANME delegation, led by its president, Abdelmounaim Dilami, and including Fatima Zahra Ouriaghli, Ibrahim Mansour and Aziz Daki, called on the minister to support it in the debate it wants to start with the major global groups ( GAFA) after having informed it of the steps it intends to take for this purpose, indicates a press release from the Association.
The Minister promised to spare no effort on the one hand, to support all the steps that ANME wishes to undertake for the development of the sector and, on the other hand, to work to continue to support press companies during the next three months, adds the same source.
And to stress that El Ferdaous in this regard noted that the arrears of social security contributions were paid and that they were being processed by the National Social Security Fund (CNSS), highlighting the attachment of the ministry to invest all avenues to support the sector and press companies in order to serve the profession and the mission it defends.
