Egyptian artist Samir Sabry passed away on Friday May 20 at the age of 85, after a fight against illness. The information was confirmed by the artist Mounir Makram, member of the Board of the Egyptian Syndicate of Professional Actors.
Egyptian media reported that artist Samir Sabry suffered health problems last February, which necessitated his transfer to hospital.
A graduate of Victoria College, Samir Sabry started his career by presenting the radio program ” To your request“. In 1959, he made his first appearance on the big screen alongside Egyptian star Amal Fahmy in “Hekayate Hob” (love story), and Egyptian icon, Abdel Halim Hafez.
