The Egyptian under-23 football team won against its Malian counterpart with a score of 1-0 on Wednesday at the Grand Stade de Tangier, on behalf of the second day of group B of the CAN U23.
The only goal of the match was the work of Ibrahim Adel in the 10th minute.
The Malians ended the match with ten after the expulsion of Mamady Diambo (56′).
Thanks to this victory, Egypt occupies first place in group B with 4 points, followed by its opponent of the day, Mali (3 pts), Niger (1 pt) and Gabon (0 pt).
On behalf of the same group, Gabon will cross swords with Niger.
