The Egyptian Olympic selection has qualified for the final of the African Cup of Nations (CAN) for under-23 football, after winning against Guinea by 1 goal to 0 (half-time 1-0) , Tuesday in the semi-final played at the Grand Stade de Tanger.
The only achievement of the meeting was signed Mohamed Shehata from the 8th minute. Thanks to this success, Egypt wins its ticket for the next Olympic Games (Paris-2024).
The second semi-final will oppose Morocco to Mali, this evening (9:00 p.m.) at the Prince Moulay Abdellah sports complex in Rabat.
The first three in the ranking of the 2023 edition of the CAN U23 will win their tickets for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The fourth will also be able to participate, but will have to go through an intercontinental play-off against an Asian nation.
