A new mineralized zone, which stretches over four kilometers in length at the Imiter bis silver deposit, has been identified by Aya Gold & Silver, a precious metals mining company, which made the announcement via a press release this Thursday, August 19.
In detail, the Imiter bis silver deposit is located 150 kilometers from Ouarzazate and 5 kilometers from the Imiter mine in Managem. The mine is particularly distinguished by the quality of its ore and is one of the few mines in the world where silver can be expressed in its native form and produces silver ingots with a purity of 99.5%.
In its press release, Aya Gold & Silver, a publicly traded Canadian company that focuses on the exploitation, exploration, acquisition and development of silver and gold deposits, said the sampling results also made it possible to identify five priority targets. Three of these targets (intermediate zone, southern zone and copper-rich zone) will be drilled from October 2021, with a diamond drilling program of approximately 4,000 meters.

Quoted in the press release, Aya Gold & Silver President and CEO Benoit La Salle stressed that the sampling results confirm the potential of a large polymetallic structure that could extend over four kilometers of surface. to Imitate bis.
He continued that “ these initial high-grade values confirm the promising prospects offered by the Imiter bis deposit. They also represent a growth opportunity parallel to Zgounder, which continues to develop.“.
Currently, Aya Gold & Silver operates mining and processing facilities at its Zgounder silver mine. Aya’s mining portfolio also includes the polymetallic deposit of Boumadine, Amizmiz, Azegour and Imiter bis.
