After a good period of falling fuel prices, some of which we dare say notorious, the prices of diesel and gasoline will rise again from the beginning of June.
They will increase by 20 and 26 centimes per liter respectively, according to sources with the National Federation of Owners, Merchants and Managers of Service Stations in Morocco (FNPCGS). At the pump, this increase will have to vary according to the distributors. Currently in Mohammedia (reference city), the price of diesel oscillates between 11.42 and 11.50 dhs or even a little more for certain brands and from 13.68 dhs to almost 14 dirhams for gasoline with this same principle of type preferential per service station.
That said, this new increase is rather misunderstood by Moroccan consumers whose pocket has been increasingly in demand for a little over a year. Especially since in view of the international situation, it is the downward trend that dominates in terms of hydrocarbons.
