Former Minister of Youth and Sports, Lahcen Sekkouri, died Monday evening at the age of 70 following a long illness, relatives of the deceased announced.
The announcement of the death was made by the former minister of tourism, the Haraki Lahcen Haddad on his Twitter account.

Born in 1952 in the town of Aïn Cheggag, near Sefrou, Lahcen Sekkouri was Minister of Youth and Sports in the Benkirane 2 government (2015-2016) under the colors of the Popular Movement (MP).
