China releases new images of the planet Mars

China released new images of the planet Mars, taken by the Tianwen-1 probe, on Saturday.

According to the Chinese National Space Administration (CNSA), these new images show various working conditions of the orbiter and the probe rover, as well as the topography of the Martian surface carried out by them.

This bundle of images includes the group photo of the orbiter and Mars, a close-up of the orbiter, the ice cap of the North Pole area of ​​the red planet, and the surface topography made by the Zhurong rover.

The Chinese mission Tianwen-1, launched on July 23, 2020, includes an orbiter, a lander and a rover.
