The president of the transition in Mali, Colonel Assimi Goïta, Head of State, received in audience, Friday in Bamako, the Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports, Mr. Chakib Benmoussa, bearer of a message from King Mohammed VI.
In a statement at the end of the audience, held in the presence of the King’s ambassador in Bamako, Driss Isbayene, Minister Chakib Benmoussa affirmed that he had delivered to the Malian President a message of brotherhood and friendship sent by the sovereign
In this message, King Mohammed VI reassures the Malian authorities of his desire to develop the historical and special relations between the two countries, Benmoussa said.
The royal message also relates to the readiness of the Kingdom of Morocco to further strengthen cooperation with Mali in the cultural, economic, military and security fields to contribute to the stability of the region, added the minister.
