CGEM pens 14 agreements to support industrial innovation in Morocco

The General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) signed the finance agreements for 14 projects for research, development, and industrial innovation on Tuesday, in the presence of Riad Mezour, Minister of Industry and Trade.

 Approximately 50 million MAD will be spent on these fourteen initiatives in total, 56% of which will come from the Innovation Support Fund.

This financial fund is to promote initiatives that are started in industrial areas and technological specialties relevant to industry.

The chosen projects, which span several industrial sectors and technological specializations like the food industry, agricultural technology, metallurgical industry, chemical industry, electronics, artificial intelligence, medical device industry, and waste treatment, will be carried out by seven companies and five emerging industrial companies.

Casablanca, Settat, Fez, Meknes, Souss-Massa, Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, and Marrakech-Safi are the three regions where these projects are concentrated.
