CDG Prévoyance supports, through the CNRA, the management of the “Tayssir” program

An agreement for the management mandated by the National Pensions and Insurance Fund (CNRA) of the “Tayssir” social program for the benefit of pupils’ tutors, was signed on Friday July 22 by the Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports, Chakib Benmoussa, the Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget, Fouzi Lekjaa, and the Director General of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion (CDG), Khalid Safir.

The “Tayssir” program, it is recalled, is entrusted to CDG Prévoyance, in the same way as several other programs and solidarity funds on behalf of the State (DAAM ARAMIL, Fonds d’Entraide Familiale, etc.). It is one of the most important existing social programs, given its considerable impact on the promotion of education among the most vulnerable populations and on the reduction of school dropout.

“Tayssir” benefited, during the 2020-2021 school year, approximately 1.5 million households, i.e. 2.2 million students through school grants in the form of monetary transfers totaling an amount of approximately 2, 6 billion dirhams.

As part of the implementation of the projects and commitments of framework law no. 09-21 relating to the extension of social protection, driven by royal instructions, this mandated management agreement for the “Tayssir” program reinforces the partnership between the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the CD, as a trusted third party.

It should be noted that CDG, through its Provident Branch in charge of the CNRA and the RCAR, thus confirms its strong commitment to deploy and honor the provisions agreed within the framework of this agreement and remains at the disposal of the public authorities, as at the accustomed to making its contribution to the success of this major project to extend social protection.
