Here is the gist of the Casablanca Stock Exchange weekly summary for the week of January 23-27, 2023:
– The Masi, the Masi.20 and the Masi.ESG fell, respectively, by 1.40% to 10,070.12 points, 1.53% to 806.70 points and 2.12% to 764.41, as for the new Masi.mid and small cap index, it gained 0.42% to 813.98;
– The overall volume of trade amounted to more than 264.9 million dirhams (MDH), including 245.2 MDH carried out on the central equity market, 13.37 MDH on the bond block market and 6, 26 MDH on the transfer market;
– Regarding the most active stocks, Attijariwafa Bank is in the lead with a volume of 61.58 MDH, followed by Itissalat Al Maghrib (35.26 MDH) and Bank of Africa (26.57 MDH);
– Market capitalization stood at 527.91 billion dirhams (MMDH);
– On an individual level, the biggest drops of the week were recorded by Stroc industrie (-8.20% to 37.94 DH), RISMA (-5.93% to 111.90 DH), SMI (-5 .76% at 1,326 DH), CIH (-4.65% at 286 DH) and Itissalat Al Maghrib (-4.11% at 93 DH);
– The best performances were achieved by CDM (7.49% at 570 DH), Résidences Dar Saada (6.69% at 13.87 DH), Delta Holding (5.49% at 24 DH), Alliances (5. 28% at 51.48 DH) and Aluminum from Morocco (4.62% at 1,360 DH).
