The Casablanca Stock Exchange began trading down slightly on Thursday, its main index, the Masi, dropping 0.04% to 11,521.56 points.
A few minutes after the opening, the MSI20, which reflects the price performance of the 20 most liquid companies, lost 0.04% to 940.04 points and the Madex, a compact index made up of stocks quoted on a continuous basis, lost 0.04 % at 9,362.89 points.
Regarding international indices, the FTSE CSE Morocco 15 index stabilized at around 10,512.82 points and the FTSE CSE Morocco All-Liquid depreciated by 0.05% to 9,847.88 points.
The benchmark Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) “Casablanca ESG 10” stood at 877.68 points (-0.08%). In terms of values, CDM (-3.84%) showed the largest drop in the morning, followed by Stokvis North Africa (-3.68%) and Société des Boissons du Maroc (-0.84%).
On the rise, Med Paper soared 3.56%, ahead of Sonasid (+ 2.82%) and Delta Holding (+ 2.66%).
