The Casablanca Stock Exchange began trading in positive territory on Tuesday, its main index, the Masi, strengthening by 0.15% to 13,972.79 points (pts).
Shortly after the opening, the Morocco Stock Index (MSI20), an index comprising the 20 most liquid stocks, rose by 0.21% to 1,138.67 pts.
The Casablanca ESG 10, thematic index which calculates the performance of the prices of socially responsible companies, advanced, for its part, by 0.31%, to 1,054.54 pts.
As for values, Disway, which published its quarterly indicators, soared 4.27% to 769 dirhams (DH), the best performance of the morning, followed by Fenie Brossette (+3.16% to 147 DH ), Salafin (+2.72% to 746.9 DH) and Cartier Saada (+2.28% to 30.99 DH).
Conversely, Risma (-2.16% to 113.5 DH) showed the biggest drop, while Sothema dropped 1.81% to 1,680 DH, Ennakl -1.49% to 36.45 DH and Res Dar Saada -0.62% to 30.31 MAD.
The day before, the Masi had closed close to balance at 13,951.27 pts (+0.01%).
