The Casablanca Stock Exchange remained in the red on Monday at the close, the MASI having fallen by -0.93%, to 1,066.56 points (pts), the MSI 20 having shed -0.93% , at 1,066.56 pts and MADEX having lost ground by -0.85%, at 10,606.05 pts.
The Casablanca ESG 10, a thematic index that calculates the price performance of socially responsible companies, fell by -0.8% to 982.88 pts.
The engineering and industrial equipment goods sector was the only one up during this session, at + 0.65%, particularly thanks to the good performance of Delattre Levivier Maroc (+ 5.94%).
The forestry and paper sector showed the largest drop (-5.97%), in particular due to the poor performance of Med Paper (-5.97%), followed by the transport index (-4 , 86%).
The overall volume of trade was 72.47 million dirhams (MDH) made on the Central market. Attijariwafa Bank contributed 14.05 MDH, Itissalat Al-Maghrib 11.22 MDH. Market capitalization, for its part, amounted to nearly 675.63 billion dirhams (MMDH).
In terms of physiognomy, 45 titles were down, 2 were up and 25 titles remained balanced.
On the value front, Involys (-5.98% to 125.05 dirhams (DH)), Med Paper (-5.97% to 31.03 DH), Stokvis North Africa (-5.65% at 19, 2 DH), Microdata (-5.44% to 603.1 DH) and Ctm (-5.04% to 678 DH) showed the largest decreases.
In contrast, the largest increases were posted by Fenie Brossette (+ 170% to 0.06 DH), Delattre Levivier Maroc (+ 5.94% to 51.89 DH), Bmci (+ 1% to 635 DH ), Immorente Invest (+ 0.85% at 100.85 DH), Mechanical Achievements (0% at 150 DH).
