The Morocco Stock Index 20 (MSI20), composed of the 20 most liquid companies, advanced by 2.41% to 1,124.83 points and the Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) benchmark index “Casablanca ESG 10” rose. from 2.32% to 1,030.05 points.
At the sectoral level, 20 indices marked positive variations over this period. The “Engineering and industrial capital goods” index (+34.69%) topped the ranking, ahead of “Utilities” (+18.62%) and “Forestry & Paper” (+15%). ).
At individual values, the best weekly performances were achieved by Delattre Levivier Maroc (+26.19%), M2M Group (+13.62%) and Lydec (+10.45%), while the largest declines were accused by TGCC SA (-100%), Saham Assurance (-3.93%) and Med Paper (-3.81%).
The overall trading volume for the period reached more than 890.051 million dirhams (MDH), while the market capitalization stood at nearly 712.70 billion dirhams (MMDH).
During the same period, Attijariwafa Bank was the most active instrument with nearly 97.83 MDH and a share of 14.53% of transactions, ahead of TGCC SA with more than 77.49 MDH (11.51%) and BCP with more than 65.76 MDH (9.77%).
