The benchmark Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) “Casablanca ESG 10” index rose 0.48% to 991.7 points.
Internationally, the FTSE CSE Morocco 15 and the FTSE Morocco All-Liquid ended the week with respective gains of 0.54% to 12,523.49 points and 0.35% to 11,209.25 points.
On a sectoral level, 18 indices closed higher, while five others were gray.
The “Utilities” sector soared 15.69%, ahead of “Engineering and Industrial Equipment” (10.64%), “Transport services” (6.28%) and ” Chemistry ”(5.75%).
The overall volume of trade for the period reached nearly 583 million dirhams (MDH) and capitalization stood at over 678 billion dirhams (billion dirhams).
In terms of values, Label Vie was the most active instrument with MAD 74.86 million, or 14.72% of the trading volume, ahead of LafargeHolcim Maroc (12.31%) and Attijariwafa Bank (11.97%).
During this period, the best weekly performances were achieved by Stroc Industrie (21.53%), Lydec (15.69%), Sonasid (12.88%) and Involys (11.06%).
The biggest drops were recorded by Fenie Brossette (-9.79%), IB Maroc.com (-5.09%), M2M Group (- 4.61%) and SM Monétique (-3.93%).
