The cities of Casablanca and Rabat have the highest number of new cases of the coronavirus, this Thursday, November 25.
MoroccoLatestNews’s watch and monitoring platform, www.moroccolatestnews.com, details that Morocco now has 949,378 confirmed, 14,770 deaths (i.e. a mortality rate of 1.5%), 931,548 cures, a total of 9,429 .781 tests (an increase of 12,885) and 3,060 cases under treatment, including 105 in serious condition (5 under intubation).
In addition, 24,405,128 people have received a first dose of the coronavirus vaccine since the launch of the campaign while 22,613,171 are in the second dose and 1,633,289 for the third, the health ministry said.
As for the geographical distribution of the new cases identified in Morocco in the last 24 hours, it is the region of Grand Casablanca-Settat which tops the most affected regions with 52 new infections, mainly in Casablanca (40) notes the platform. Second region in the ranking, the region of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra which reports 42 new cases, mainly in Rabat (25).
Next, the Marrakech-Safi region which records 4 new contaminations in Marrakech (3) and El Kelaâ des Sraghna (1), as does Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (2 in Tanger-Assilah, 1 in Tétouan and 1 in Ouezzane) and Souss-Massa (2 in Agadir and 2 in Taroudant).
For its part, the Oriental region observed 3 new cases (1 in Oujda-Angad, 1 in Nador and 1 in Jerada) while that of Beni Mellal-Khénifra observed 2 in Khouribga.
The last region to count a new case of the coronavirus is that of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab in Oued Ed-Dahab.
