Ghana and Gabon left on a draw (1-1), Friday at the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium in Yaoundé, on behalf of the 2nd day of group C of the African Cup of Nations (CAN) football, held in Cameroon.
Ghana took the lead with an 18th-minute goal from Andre Ayew before Jim Allevinah equalized in the 88th minute.
Earlier in the day, the Atlas Lions clinched their ticket to the round of 16 of the CAN after beating Comoros 2-0.
Morocco occupies the chair of leader of group C with 6 points, followed by Gabon (3 pts), Ghana and Comoros.
During the first day, the national team won against Ghana by 1 goal to 0.
Cameroon, the host country, was the first to qualify for the round of 16 of the CAN.
