The Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) has announced the exclusion of 21 of the 30 players from the national team (U17) for massive age fraud.

“As part of the preparations for the UNIFFAC Limbe 2023 qualifying tournament for CAN 2023, 21 players, out of the 30 currently in training, were rejected following the MRI tests. They were immediately removed from the group.said the Cameroonian Federation in a press release to public opinion.

And to specify that “This action follows the strict instructions given by the President of FECAFOOT acting under the mandate of the COMEX, in order to put an end to the tampering with civil status records which have, in the past, tarnished the image of the apex body of the Cameroonian soccer.
