Burj Capital, the investment fund dedicated to SMEs and managed by Karim Ayouche, announced its takeover of MOTOMANIA, the national leader in motorcycle and motorbike equipment, and importer – distributor of Peugeot Motocycles.
In a few years and thanks to the sustained growth of the Moroccan market, Motomania has established its leadership in motorcycle retail in Morocco and consolidated its position as an importer of prestigious brands, thus preparing for several months to open its round table for accelerate its development.
Through this transaction, Burj Capital is actively pursuing its growth strategy in this sector, following the acquisition of Legendco and MK Motors, importers and distributors of large displacement and leisure motorcycles.
“Thanks to this acquisition, we are becoming a significant player in Morocco by covering all segments of this market, and in a favorable position with regard to the changes to come, in particular the development of the production and distribution of electric vehicles”, emphasizes Otmane Jamil, founder of Motomania, now invested by Burj Capital with the management and implementation of the synergies of this new business segment.
