Brunei supports Morocco’s territorial integrity and sovereignty in the Sahara

Brunei Darussalam supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Kingdom of Morocco over the Moroccan Sahara, Brunei Darussalam’s second foreign minister, Dato Erywan Pehin Yusof, said on Monday in Rabat.

Brunei Darussalam welcomes the efforts made by the Kingdom of Morocco for a “sustainable and peaceful” settlement of the Moroccan Sahara issue, said Yusof during a press briefing after his talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs , African Cooperation and Moroccans residing abroad, Nasser Bourita.

For his part, Bourita hailed the “sustainable and positive” position of Brunei, a friendly country that has always shown its support for the Kingdom.

This important working visit to Morocco by the second Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brunei Darussalam is the first of its kind in this country.
