The Wydad of Casablanca (WAC) won on the lawn of Rapide Oued Zem (RCOZ) (1-0), Wednesday evening in Khouribga, during the 11th day of the Botola Pro D1 “Inwi” football.
Salaheddine Saidi offered the victory to his team with a goal signed in the 37th minute.
The WAC thus takes advantage of the misstep of its runner-up Raja (19 pts), defeated (0-1) earlier at home against Hassania d’Agadir, to take the lead in the general classification with 25 units. For its part, the RCOZ, which conceded its 5th defeat of the season for as many draws and only one victory, rushed further to the bottom of the standings (penultimate / 8 pts). In the other match played this Wednesday, Ittihad Tangier also went to sign a precious victory in front of Renaissance Berkane (2-1). This victory allowed Driss Mrabet’s men to occupy the 4th box (16 pts), next to AS FAR.
