Moroccan international Yacine Bounou, goalkeeper of Al Hilal Saudi Football Club, won the Best Goalkeeper Award in the Saudi League for October, after he strongly presented his credentials in defending the “Blue Team’s” goal, contributing to achieving a group of victories.
The Saudi League account on the social networking site “X” shared that Bounou won the best goalkeeper award for the month of October, noting that the Al Hilal defender kept a clean sheet in 5 matches out of 11 rounds, and made 20 saves.
Al Hilal played 3 matches in October, in rounds 9, 10, and 11, achieving the perfect score with 3 victories over Al-Akhdood (3-0), Al-Khaleej (1-0), and Al-Ahly (3-1).Yassine Bounou was also included in the final list of Goalkeeper of the Year in Africa, which included
10 names, along with Youssef El Motie, Wydad Athletic Club’s goalkeeper. He is considered the most likely to win the award.
