The Canarian airline Binter has announced the largest route program in its history to Morocco. The company is now betting everything on Morocco destinations by reaching up to 36 flights per week from Tangier to Dakhla.
Three new direct connections between the airports of the Kingdom and the Canary Islands will be opened by the airline after having already increased the volume of its flights a year earlier.
At present there are more than 78,000 seats available to serve 8 Moroccan airports for a total of 11 services to Fez, Marrakech, Agadir, Guelmim, Laayoune, Dakhla, Tangier and Essaouira.
Binter will launch 3 new connections, two of them will connect Gran Canaria airport to Essaouira and Tangier, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and to Tangier airport, on Wednesdays, from July.
The company will also connect the island of Lanzarote to Guelmim, on Saturday, in order to meet the demand for travel between these two destinations with a direct flight, indicates a press release from the airline.
Binter also announced the operation again this summer of the direct air links it launched in 2022 from Gran Canaria to Fez and Guélmim and from Madeira to Marrakech.
According to the company, this initiative has become a reality thanks to the exceptional relationship that Binter has with the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) and is part of the establishment of a collaboration agreement between the two parties, with the aim of strengthening their commitment to the revival of tourism in Morocco and connectivity with the Canary Islands.
