The Renaissance of Berkane has just won a new coronation in its history by beating the Renaissance of Berkane the Raja of Casablanca in the final of the Throne Cup, Saturday in Rabat.
The Berkani club, which defended its title on Saturday in Rabat, won the final with a 1 goal against 0 against a Raja from Casablanca who was looking to reconnect with the coronations and won the ninth title in its history.
Raja, strong with his large audience, therefore bows to the defending champion and moves even further away from his last performance recorded in 2017.
For its part, the Renaissance of Berkane consolidates its position as the favorite and the strongest club in the Moroccan league for two years in a row and having beaten both Raja and Wydad, the two flagship clubs of Casablanca.
The Renaissance of Berkane has therefore just won its 3rd trophy, the last dates back to the 2020-2021 season, against Wydad who had just won the African Champions League and the previous Throne Cup for the 2017-2018 season. .
