Former Real Madrid and Chelsea forward Eden Hazard announced his retirement from football on Tuesday, at the age of 32.
The Belgian star, who won the Premier League twice during his time at Chelsea, revealed his retirement through an Instagram post.
“After 16 years and more than 700 matches played, I have decided to end my career as a professional footballer,” the player wrote.
Hazard had already retired from international football last December after playing his final World Cup with Belgium, which was knocked out during the group stage.
