The Barid Al-Maghrib Group proceeded on Tuesday, in partnership with Archives du Maroc, to the special issue of a postage stamp in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the Archives of Morocco.
An institution created under Law 69-99 relating to archives, Archives du Maroc’s main missions are the safeguard and enhancement of the national archival heritage as well as the promotion of the field of archives through scientific research, indicates a joint press release from Barid Al-Maghrib and Archives du Maroc. The special issue of the postage stamp “10th anniversary of the Archives of Morocco”, which takes place on the occasion of the National Archives Day, enriches the philatelic collection produced by Barid Al-Maghrib in commemoration of important dates for public establishments and state institutions. In this collection, indicates the same source, appear mainly, the special emissions relating to the “50th anniversary of the creation of the Supreme Court” in 2007, the 50th anniversaries of Bank Al-Maghrib and of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion in 2009, the “50th anniversary of Parliament” in 2013 and the “Centenary of the General Treasury of the Kingdom and of public accounting” in 2017.
