The Board of Bank Al-Maghrib decided, at the end of its meeting on Tuesday, June 20, to maintain the key rate at 3%.
After analyzing the evolution and outlook of the uncertain world economy, in particular because of the conflict in Ukraine, Bank Al Maghrib has decided to exercise caution.
He noted in particular that inflation in the main advanced economies is gradually falling, driven by the decline in the prices of energy and food products, but continues to evolve well above the targets of central banks.
