Here are five key points of the weekly indicators of Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM) for the period from September 23 to 29:
1 – The dirham appreciated against the euro by 0.26% and depreciated by 0.42% against the US dollar.
2 – The outstanding official reserve assets of BAM stood at 318 billion dirhams (billion dirhams), up 1.9% from one week to the next and 7.6% year-on-year.
3- The overall outstanding amount of Central Bank interventions stands at MAD 88.9 billion, including MAD 30.5 billion in the form of 7-day advances on call for tenders, MAD 30.9 billion in the form of repo operations delivered , 26.6 billion dirhams within the framework of the financing support programs of the TPME and 1 billion dirhams for the exchange swap operations.
4 – On the interbank market, the average daily volume of exchanges stood at 3.4 billion dirhams and the interbank rate stood at 1.50% on average.
5- On the stock market, the Masi has appreciated by 1.7%, bringing its performance since the start of the year to 16.9%.
