Here are the four key points of the weekly indicators of Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM) for the period from 25 to 31 March 2021:
1. The dirham appreciated 0.26% against the euro and depreciated 0.51% against the dollar. 2. As of March 26, 2021, the stock of official reserve assets stood at MAD 306.7 billion (billion dirhams), down 0.3% from one week to the next and up 19 , 6% year-on-year.
3. The overall outstanding amount of Bank Al-Maghrib interventions comes out at 72.2 billion dirhams, including 28.6 billion dirhams in the form of 7-day advances on call for tenders, 15 billion dirhams in the form of repo operations delivered and of 28.5 billion dirhams within the framework of the support programs for the financing of the TPME.
4. On the interbank market, the average daily volume of trade stood at 5.5 billion dirhams and the interbank rate during this period stood at 1.5% on average.
