Government spokesperson Mustapha Baitas said a total of 4,241 e-visa applications have been received so far, of which 540 are Express applications.
Reacting to journalists’ questions on statistics relating to electronic visas, during a press briefing at the end of the Council of Government, convened under the chairmanship of the head of government Aziz Akhannouch, Baitas, affirmed that some 2,385 electronic visas have been granted, while 795 files remain incomplete, awaiting delivery of the rest of the documents.
The applications under consideration in accordance with the deadlines stand at 445, while the number of rejected electronic visas reached 58 applications, including 21 Express applications, he further said.
